Exposed - Fatal Mistake Committed By Tim Sales, Network Marketing Expert By Taigh G. Smyth Tim Sales is a fantastic trainer for the Network industry but after close examination of the strategies being taught, Tim has committed a Fatal Mistake.
Network Superstar Tim Sales has successfully transitioned his activities from building his own network distributorship to becoming a head trainer for the industry. With this, Tim has developed his own line of products to help train other distributors and educate prospects. A quick look at some of his tools include;
- Professional Inviter
- Brilliant Compensation
- Brilliant Communicator
- Brilliant Questions
- Professional Presenter (yet to be released)
and other sales and training tools. Tim Sales has broken the activities of building a Network business into three main parts. Invite, Present, Train. Tim Sale has overlooked a critical activity that would address most Network Marketers problems... and that can be summed up in the question, "What do I when I've run out of people to approach?" So the missing component is the of the business.
Tim Sales seems to address this by offering a very weak solution. And that is to Buy leads. In my humble opinion this is the worst thing you can do if you want to see growth in your business. But perhaps Tim knows this but is also smart enough to know that people are willing to do just about anything to build their business, so he sets up a company that will sell you leads.
Why is this a Fatal Mistake? If you have ever spent time and money purchasing leads you will understand
how frustrating this process is. More times than not, people think you are a telemarketer and view you as a pest. On top of that you are positioning yourself in the place of being 'needy'. People are looking for three things when looking for a business opportunity.
1) A company they feel comfortable promoting
2) A system that is easy to tap into
3) A leader that will help them
Now, when you call people up and ask if they would be interested in joining your business (in nicer words of course), what does that say to the prospect? A couple things. First, in order to build the business they are going to have to phone people up and do the same thing you're doing (yuk). And second that you couldn't be doing that well in your business if you are calling people like a telemarketer, therefore you are not the leader they are looking for. If you truly have something valuable to offer, why not have people come to you?
See, Tim Sales does not teach you how to market yourself as a leader. He does not teach you strategies that go beyond you "warm market" (which is basically your friends, family, and everyone 3 feet around you).
Tim Sales is a great trainer helping people with skills such as communication, but teaching us to call leads is not a long term success plan. The activity of calling leads is extremely hard duplicate in your organization.
